La Plagne Montalbert in the Summer |
This is a typical village on the edge of a forest and is full of character. There are many forested walks connecting the local villages with fantastic views of the valley. Mt Jovet is 2800m and has breathtaking views of Mt Blanc and the surrounding meadows and valleys.
Chairlifts run twice weekly through the Summer Season - allowing you to explore the D'Isere river valley below which has plenty of cycle routes & water activities.
Montalbert has it's own information centre where you can hire bikes, organise horse riding, husky trekking, guided walks, etc..
The village has it's own cinema, supermarket, several sports, tabac & souvenir shops, pubs and plenty of good quality restaurants & bars.
